Like any diminished 7th chord, the Dbdim chord is formed by stacking three minor third intervals. It is a symmetrical chord containing four notes. Consequently, there exist only three diminished chords. It equals to playing the 1st, the 3rd, the flat 5th and the flat 7th degree of the Db minor scale.
