Gdim7 (G diminished 7th chord)

Like any diminished 7th chord, the Gdim chord is formed by stacking three minor third intervals. It is a symmetrical chord containing four notes. Consequently, there exist only three diminished chords. It equals to playing the 1st, the 3rd, the flat 5th and the flat 7th degree of the G minor scale.
